Release film is an auxiliary material used in composite manufacturing, typically made from polyester, polyethylene, or Teflon (PTFE) coated sheets. Its primary function is to prevent resin from sticking to molds or vacuum bags during curing, protecting the mold surface and ensuring a smooth finish on the composite part. Release films are often reusable and widely used in drone fuselages, wings, carbon fiber panels, and other high-performance composite components.
